About

Sítio Santo Antônio do Pontal came about after a visit to our friend Pedro Espírito Santo's house in the mountains of the Parque Estadual dos Três Picos.
We fell in love with the strong nature and the fabulous mountains that dominate the valley.

Returning to Rio Pedro informed us that he had found a property close to his house and he would be happy to have his friends close by. Two months later we had already acquired this piece of paradise.

Sítio Santo Antônio do Pontal was built in the beginning of the nineties. It was a project of the architect Pedro Paranaguá and it was decorated by Pedro Espírito Santo.

It was recently styled by Carlos Mota who also photographed it for the American magazines Elle Decor and Architecture Design. 
The Sítio has also featured in the Brazilian magazines Vogue and Harpers Bazaar.

The house is located in the Parque Estadual dos Três Picos, surrounded by centenary trees, and is close to the Serra da Caledonia. There's a stream that crosses the property forming a natural pool. The Sítio also has a second pool and a sauna. It has an organic vegetable garden, chickens, ducks and lots of fresh eggs!
